Butterflies and Macro-Moths of Baden-Württemberg

This is a reference collection of all species occurring within the borders of the state Baden-Württemberg. It provides the user with an overview of all native species, additionally with larva and chrysalis in many cases. The pictures can be used as an identification guide.

The photographed taxa are reliably identified. However, the nomenclature is not quite up to date. This will be improved in the course of the project. Affected drawers will be scanned again and the online pictures replaced.
Every image is a composite of 30–42 pictures, which were combined using stitching-software (AutoStitch or Image Composite Editor). In a few cases, there are insular artefacts within the overlapping zones because of the parallactic deviation.
